I read this really interesting article in The Sunday Times magazine about an expert in ancestry tracing who has helped the FBI solve over 150 cases in the last few years. She does this by tracing relatives of any third party DNA found at a crime scene and coming up with a pool of suspects. It’s fascinating and I’m investigating further as I think it could be useful for a new book series.
